Flap discs blend weld dressing and finishing in a single step and last longer than fibre discs on heavy stock removal. Choose ceramic grain for the hardest, fastest cutting on stainless and alloy, zirconia for general steel, and step through the grits (40 to hog, 60-80 to refine, 120 to finish); a flat (Type 27) disc suits surface work, a domed (Type 29) disc suits edges and contours.
