Use a thin (1-1.2mm) cutting disc for fast, cool cutting and a thicker grinding disc for weld dressing and edge work — never side-grind with a slitting disc. Always check the disc diameter, bore and maximum RPM against your grinder, and pick INOX (iron/sulphur/chlorine-free) discs for stainless so you don't contaminate the surface and cause rust.
