2546 foam-backed hook-and-loop discs incorporate a soft foam intermediate layer between the abrasive paper and the hook-face backing. This foam layer allows the disc to conform to gentle curves and contours, making it particularly suited to bodywork panels, moulded components and other non-flat surfaces where a rigid disc would bridge across low points and miss high spots.

Ideal applications:

• Sanding of curved automotive body panels
• Finishing of moulded composite and fibreglass components
• Contour sanding of furniture and cabinetry
